Manchester Champ Show - 23/1/12

Thorn, Clover & Brook travelled on the team to Manchester Champ show, but unfortunately Thorn has lost his coat now and paid the price for it in his class, and Clover was unplaced though no fault of her own in a class of 26! Brook however in a good Limit class was unplaced but excelled in the Good Citizen Dog class which he won! Thorn & Clover also had their first eye tests which they both passed & came home with Clear Eye Certificates for 2012.

Boston Champ Show - 6/01/12

Well it was the first Champ Show of 2012 and luckily the weather has held and we made it down this year - unlike last year when we got snowed in!
Poor Thorn has decided to change his coat and has currently thrown out most of his puppy coat, so unfortunateely in a class of 21 he didnt get placed. Brook however made the final 8 in a very strong GR Limit Dog class out of 26 and then went on the get 3rd in Good Citizen GR Dog class. A good result all told.

LKA Champ Show - NEC Birmingham 11/12/11

Just the two boys out today, and older boy showed the way gaining a 2nd in the GR Good Citizen Dog class, where not just beauty counts, they have to hold Bronze or above Good Citizen Obedience awards too. Unfortunately in Thorns classs, too many dogs and not enough places for him to figure in the awards.

Midland GRC Champ Show - 4/12/11

A trip down to the Kennel Club Building at Stoneleigh forr this show, and Thorn was placed 7th In Junior Dog and 5th Undergraduate Dog, Brook was 6th in Post Grad Dog, and Orchid, without her coat, managed 7th in Post Graduate Bitch, quite an achievement. Now its time for a rest for her whilst her new coat grows back in, so it will be the boys only for a ccouple of shows now.

Scottish Gundog Association Champ Show - 12/11/11

Just a short 2 hours drive saw us up at Edinburgh for this show, and Orchid has now decided to change her coat for a new winter one has coat falling out everywhere! Anyway, Orchid still did us proud with a 5th place in Post Graduate bitch. This will probably be her last champ show now until Crufts when her new coat should be back in.

Berkshire Downs & Chilterns G. R C Champ Show - 6/11/11

A long journey down to Slough with a stopover with family was well rewarded when Orchid won the Post Graduate Bitch class, thats twice in 2 weeks! In the final bitch line up she stood beside her older half sister (Clovers Mum) who had won her class too. Not often half sisters make it to the final line up! Well done my special little Orchid x
